Music scares me sometimes

- It seems the North Korean Music Industry is in some form of renaissance, after news.com.au posted this article which claims that that nations dictator Kim Jong-Il is getting ' jiggy' with it, by endorsing many new songs for release in the country to boost the nations shattered morale. Some of these tracks carry the dubious monikers of 'Girl Silk-weavers of Nyongbyon', 'I Am a Front-line Soldier's Wife' and 'A Girl Innovator Dashing Like a Steed'. Ok i'm not sure if that is just a poor 'Engrish' translation or just a poor command of language full stop. Im keen to hear them but i doubt that they will be audible beyond the Communist nations razor-wired borders.
If you want to explore Korean music further, here is Allmusic's Korean portal.

- The Arctic Monkeys film will be released to DVD (go figure) in the UK next month. It will compose of two short films based on some of their rambling pieces of music. It will sell millions and will most likely blow. Im sorry guys, I really detest this band.

- U2 have postponed their Australian tour, apparantly a family member of a member of the band is ill or something and they can't tour. I hope they forget to come back, I dont want them in my city.

- YouTube is fun, there are heaps of random music videos there you can stream and stick on your MySpace page or Blog. I found this, its Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins! Mr Crotch-stuffing himself with a chunky slab of cheesy 80's rock from Mr Couch-Jumper's most recognised film, Top Gun. Why wasnt I around in the 80's dammit? Well i was, for 3 years but i couldn't remember it. This is rad to the max.
