They were the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! and the Arctic Monkeys of 2004, emerging from total obscurity the band TV On The radio garnered much attention upon the release of their debut EP and their subsequent full-length 'Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes' from press and punters alike. After listening to this NYC collective its not hard to justify the hype. Their sound is bold and unlike anything preceding it. Syncopated drum loops, afro-timbred vocal harmonies and a sort of comforting dissonance define the near undefinable TV On The Radio sound. Their new album is on the way, and this track is from it.
