Those jangly nerd-breaths from the north of England The Futureheads are back with album number two entitled 'News and Tributes'. The first single from the album 'Skip to the End' isn't as urgent or angular as their debut LP, and as yet i'm not convinced, but i'll let you decide. New album is released in the UK next week, with the US soon after.
Pomomofo are another one of those electro-disco-rock-house bands from Sydney, but everyone loves electro-disco-rock-house so who cares? These kids bring their sythny sounds to the table in the hippest of fashions with a nod to the 80's and will be playing the Hopetoun Surry Hills on the 31st, Havana Club (LOL to the NYE posse)Darlinghurst on the 9th June and Revolver in Melbourne on the 22nd.
