Fascination turned Destruction

It is rare for me to like anything that was shown to me by my sister but I couldn't deny that the tables had turned and with her showing me music I had no heard before was potentially a sign of the times. I want to tell you their over exuberence makes me sick, but it does the opposite, I love it and I hate that (give that some music and you've got the next hit for Rihanna). There is something so Brady Bunch about Denmark's Alphabeat that I find myself enjoying the guilty pleasures of their music partly for its upbeat delivery but even more so in waiting, waiting in joyful hope for the sordid personal lives of Alphabeat to be splashed across the blogosphere! I feel slightly shameful saying it but I want nothing more than to hear that Alphabeat have personal lives more bizzare than Britany Spears, more confusing than John Mayer and more irrelevant than Lindsay Lohan.

Is it any wonder that music which oozes so much happiness comes from Scandanavia? Often I wonder what exactly is in the water around those parts but then I think tis a bit hypocritical for a citizen of New South Wales to cast comment over the quality of another developed countries drinking water (fuck you morris).

Anyways without further mindless pondering, check out the clip for "Fascination" by Alphabeat. However I do warn you, unless you are in the mood to watch the box set of Seventh Heaven, maybe give this one a miss for another day because it may result in you drawing a crossbow on the next person who smiles at you without just cause.

I couldn't fight the urge to include this short little acoustic cover that Alphabeat did of Daft Punk's "Digital love". I don't know what the official blog policy is on people who cover the holy D.P but again I cannot fight this catchy little rendition.
