Supergroup 'Them Crooked Vultures' released this teaser video of their song Scumbag Blues. The Crooked Vultures of course consists of John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age & Eagles Of Death Metal) and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters & Nirvana).
Although i've heard much talk about this group i've never actually heard anything musically speaking until now. From what I can tell it sounds pretty solid. Josh Homme could knee cap me and i'd probably think the sound of my shattering bones were genius though. Love the animations in the clip, who knew Vultures were such bad asses, standing around with puppies and flashing people.
Thoughts?
A bunch of info is on their website here: Them Crooked Vultures.

im a bit of a supergroup skeptic i must say, i cant lie, initially i was an audioslave / velvet revolver fan but album by album they turned more and more to poison.
it does sound promising, but i just cant give myself fully to them just yet, everyone tip toes around it, but mr jpj can be quite mediocre in his non zep endeavours.
should be interesting but im not gunna hold my breath. josh homme is a genius, yes, but he tends to bring a trademark sound to everything he does (QOTSA/EODM) hell even the new artic monkeys CD has some very 'queens' sounding aspects to it. will you hear the influence of the others? or will it be just another 'josh homme and some other guys' CD? either way i'll definately give it a chance.
