Only a short post but I had to post over Nancy's Vampire Weekend dj set because it just depresses me that I'm in Sydney and not Melbourne. fml.
That's right kids, it's all over red rover. Mind you if you were gunning for tickets you'd already know that by now. It seems as if the movement of the festival into 6 finger country hasn't deterred anyone.
Keep your eyes peeled, you might see a white boy or two frolicking around the grounds of Woodfordia. Gotta start practicing the lingo "how ya goin".
Big week of university this week but we've got some more picks for Splendour and cd reviews coming next week!

Oh and I think I told the bass player from Vampire Weekend that he sucked because he didn't have any Iggy Pop. I am an unreasonable bitch. But he did smile at me a couple of times, so I think he knew I was joking.
There was an Ezra sighting also but I didn't get to see the drummer because I was smoking my $18 a pack cigarettes.
dam dam dam! i am one of those unfortunate souls who missed out on buying a ticket. If you guys go please blog about how terrific it was (even though it will depress me) I really enjoy reading your reviews.

Regardless... over-hyped festival. It's all indie. yay. I'd pay to see The Pixies, and The Temper Trap. That's it.
Tickets were way overpriced to.
