Miami Horror's album Illumination will be out 20th August and it's sure to cause plenty of bikini clad girls to jump around. Admittedly I too loved the joys of "Sometimes" but was nervous to see what they could offer over an entire album. I must admit I am impressed and surprised by their capabilities as songwriters rather than handy DJs, again probably highlighting my failure as a human being. Miami Horror have included some brilliant collaborations on the album with artists like Alan Palomo from Neon Indian and the sublime Kimbra supplying some indulgent disco infused surprises. Will be hard to look past "Holidays" featuring Alan Palomo as the next single.
I don't think anyone bothered to tell Miami Horror that summer is a little way off yet. As a staunch winter white boy myself, I have to admit these summer bangers have even got me excited... but it certainly doesn't mean I'll be catching any sun at the no doubt endless summer festivals Miami Horror will be playing!

This stuff sounds horribly dated. Most of the tracks sound like that horrid "All This Love" song released in 2006. The creation of this rubbish needs to stop.
With the Neon Indian collab, I think they are really behind the 8-ball on the whole "glow-wave" fad. It seems a half-arsed tacked-on attempt to ride the wave (a wave full of fantastic music),but they come across as sounding even more ridiculous
Correction: I meant "chill wave" (original comment made whilst working)
It's very Sydney.
