Happy Anniversary.

While I'm having a mild stroke sitting on the couch while watching the Hawks V Freeo elimination final and yelling like a lunatic, I thought I'd write a post seeing as it's been a whole year since I started writing for the whiteboy. Happy anniversary! I expected a present but all you gave me was a bout of disappointment. So thanks a lot jerks.

I was trying to think about what to write and I couldn't think of anything grandeur or amazing to say, so I'll make it short. I'm a extremely fussy bitch, so when I found a blog that wasn't a typical hipster haven and by people who didn't write like pretentious twats I became a regular reader. Plus it gave me something to read when I interned at a record label. I guess my persistent commenting paid off and I was asked to contribute.

I adore these guys for giving me a substantial outlet for my musical loves, loathes and long winded rants. While mostly rants, I have learnt it's probably best left to keep them to the blogosphere. Inspired by Pix's post about Evermore, I drunkenly ranted to one of the members when I ran into him at a Melbourne indie club. I forgot his name, but he was the normal looking bass playing one, even while he was smoking a pipe....at a club. I proceeded to tell him that his music was better when they were all cute and nerdy and now his brothers looked like a rapist and a meth addict. I also told him that 'Boys & Girls' song was fucking horrid. Luckily he was lovely and kept talking to me and didn't punch me in the throat. He even let me smoke his pipe.

Anyways, if you don't bypass my posts and actually read them, a big thank you. Here is my very first post all the way back on Aug 27th. Hope to see you all in another year. Seeing this is all text, here are some vids from my favourite album. Ever.
