I Cant Get Behind Dancing Carbots

Ok listen up you vultures, the title says it all. I dont know what more you could want from a daily intake of musical goodness, this post covers all the major food groups.

William Shatner is the original cultural icon. Before your friggen Chuck Norris / Napoleon Dynamite days, Shatner was and still remains "da man". For a few very simple reasons;
  • #1: His fan base does not consist of american - italian former Rocky loving fans or australia - middle eastern guido sounding "angus smart" wannabes. This is something Chuck Norris cannot lay claim to.
  • #2: His fans aren't incredibly hot yet retarded pairs hilton-espue girls who think "haha its funny to be in love with a Napoleon Dynamite" when really they go to sleep every night after their all-american running back has just beat the shit out of them at a pep rally for indangered cheerleaders.
  • #3: Shatner has it all, Chuck Norris doesn't have a singing career, nor does Sly, nor does Dynamite (yes i realise his brother does though.."why do you love me, why do you need me, always & forever").

My Point: Shatner rules over all others, whoever you plaster over your myspace with wreckless abandon to seem culturally bohemian, it only proves you are an inept piece of chewing gum stuck to the bottom of the shoe which belongs to me... thats right, I walk on you everyday.

So in my appraisal of the great William Shatner, I am here to inform the uninformed, he released an album a few years back and it did not recieve half the amount of applause it should of. William Shatner should not be allowed to leave his house without the same paparazzi fan fair that your Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's are accustom to. Shatner is hollywood.

So for the small few who are yet to see the light, the spoken word antics of this man will be surprised at the depth and content of his work. Yes, he doesnt sing but as tracks on his album "Has Been" proves, he can self-mock, he can rock, he can be emotional and he can halarious. Ive selected the halariously rockin for you all today. Shatner's social commentary whilst being alittle bit too american for us in Oz to fully understand it all, his succint rants accompanied by Henry Rollins are just fantastic.

Im going to continue on a slight 6 month retrospective on what's cool, I thought i'd keep things alittle more mundane and post for you all that bloody amazing Citroen C4 ad with the dancing car. So i thought I'd post for you all not only the uber-cool euro ad but id throw in the mp3 for you all to boot. Hey, thats the kinda guy I am... I work over you, then throw you a bone. No worries, it's who I am.

that track is a genuine dancefloor filler, and that video is a genuine automobile seller. who wouldnt want a funky french hatchback that morphs into a giant robot and ice skates across a frozen scandanavian lake?!
