He's done it again, can you believe it? Children's books, a biopic and now a music career for the infamous Chopper Read! Yeah sure he's a criminal, sure he was declared insane many years ago but you can't dispute his business smarts for creating his own brand and his mythical persona since his emancipation. In an interview with 2UE Sydney presenter Stan Zemanek recently he said he now has the paper to prove his sanity, confessed that he hasn't got a musical bone in his body and dissed 50 Cent, calling rappers of his ilk 'fake gangsters'. Well he has stuck it to them with his new Rap release titled 'Interview With A Madman', which documents some of Chopper's experiences both from behind the bars and in front with his usual straight-talking nature intoned with his gravel-like voice. The music is honest, has a surprising amount of pathos despite its rugged exterior and thematic concerns. It's definetly worth a listen just for a peek into the soul of Australia's most notorious ex-cons. It make Fiddy look like Delta Goodrem (who was miming at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony last night btw).
