Teenager are a Sydney via Melbourne duo responsible for an engaging meal of electro-laced punk with an experimental garnish. The band have traversed the globe honing their craft over the past 3 yars and in the process have worked with the big guns from Sonic Youth, Electric Six and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The end product is extremely impressive and unique and my vocabulary cannot do the band justice. Just give them a listen.

This band is a little more well known, scoring some supports with the big guns of Australian electro as well as a rubber-turning spot on the MOS #2 show just recently. I am talking about Van She, purveyors or rocking new wave revivalist sounds which places one foot firmly in 1984 while leaving the other in 2006. Krautrock, french house and 80's post punk and funk are their noted influences and they show through in this beautiful stew of retro and nouveau. These guys are going places.
