Monday Bloody Monday

Yeh thats right everyone... your good times are over for another 4-5 days at best. That son of a bitch Monday is here.

In true Whiteboydancefloor style, a weekend post is rare if ever present as we are out there with you all, bumping and grinding, movin and shakin, twisting and turning.

Saturday Night saw ThePix of whiteboydancefloor notoriety hit The Beachcomber Resort in Toukley. Here is the long and short of a venue review for you all.



With the right company and the right bank balance to pay The Beachies ridiculous food prices, it is not a half bad place to have a drink. I myself did have the right company and a decent enough bank balance... luckily. However, lets get to what is most important! As far as a venue for bumping and grinding goes, it is highly average. The DJ is heckled all night and all the comments are more than warranted. The dancefloor highly awkward and non-centralized. The bar staff, arrogant wankers. The dress code is anything above a paperbag and fishnets and quite frankly does not even compare to the callibre of partyer that Western Sydney has to offer. Surprisingly the highlight was the security folk, relaxed, fair and non threatening.

Hardcore clubbers beware, as you might have already figured out, this place is not for anyone with too much street credit. Sadly I felt like I was constantly asked for my ID not for my age, but just so people might actually be able to hold something which belonged to me. In their defense, it is a great place to have a drink with fantastic views and plenty of seating, also everyone said to me Fridays are bigger than Saturdays, none the less, add another 300 people and I still would not have been impressed with it's self prescribed "pumping atmosphere" which the locals speak of.

Now, I'm going to change my tune alittle. Here is some social commentary for you all. It seems like everywhere you go these days, everyones got a bit of 'tude hanging off their shoulder and it's almost a cornerstone of any trendy scene. Like it or not when they channel it on the dancefloor, the results are dynamically diabolical. Im not saying go galavanting around sydney acting like a complete twat or im sure Chris would love nothing more than to shoot you with his imaginary gun or slash your ties with his real one. But it has been proven everywhere that putting your fly styles in the fly places at the right time is...well...fly.

What I'm talkin about here people is the Power of Positive 'Tude.

But listen closely.

What I am definitely not talking about, is being a certified fuck! And you know the people Im talking about. You wonder how they managed to understand the complex assignment of opening their frontdoor to get outside in the first place, or you ponder whether or not if someone just opened it for them. If i hear one more person give me some comment about how good are the skirts, or howz the form... I will shoot you! I am getting sick and tired of complete undesirables venturing further than their local bottle-o's and milkbars and taking a proverbial shit on great dancefloors!

ALL YOU NEED IS UP THE ROAD, GO BUY YOUR $8.90 GOON BAG AND KNOCK YOURSELF OUT. HELL, ON THE WEEKEND, SPOIL YOURSELF WITH 2 CORONA'S AT HAPPY HOUR, STICK EM DOWN YOUR PANTS AND FUCK STRAIGHT OFF HOME. I DONT EVEN WANT YOU TALKIN TO THE BARMAN, JUST WRITE YOUR MESSAGE ON A POST IT NOTE, STICK IT TO THE DICK PERTRUDING FROM YOUR HEAD, ALERT THE BARMAN TO THE MESSAGE AND GO HOME, NO EYE CONTACT.

My Point: We need more dancer on dancer, dance-off action. And yes I am calling all dancers to make ready with their dancing shoes! You all sit their and scream the words to Love Generation, let's live it.

Slowly we're regaining the dancefloors, but there is much to be done... I didnt start the fire, But i sure as hell must waste all my money on overpriced petrol to keep it firing erratically and freely and so should you!
