It has been a very good couple of months for Sydney DJ Adrian Thomas better know to punters as Ajax. He is huge in club land and renowned for, amoung other things, his MOS 'Mashed' series which feature some seriously incredible and sleazy electro mash-ups. As part of the Bang Gang crew and on his own he has been mixing the finest and fuzziest electro and dirty house tunes for a good number of years and his efforts have paid off, being voted number one in the Techincs In The Mix50 just recently, along with a bunch of other awards and big time mixing credits.
His new album 'Spin City' features some superb remixes by him and some of the best producers doing the rounds. It's an absoulte electro feast, with Midnight Juggernauts, Princess Superstar and The Valentinos all featuring. The mp3 is for the Bag Raiders mix (another dj posse to watch for) of 'Kafka' by Sydney outfit The Valentinos, who are also about to release a new album. Its hot.

For those who love those lunatics from Xquabed, you are in luck. The boys will be playing at Sols Deck Bar, Oxford Street Darlinghurst this Monday evening, the 11th. They will hit the stage at around 9pm with a swag of other talented Sydney bands. So if your in town and have nothing else to do or haven't yet experienced this great band, head down and check 'em out! Don't forget they are in the running for the 2006 Triple J Unearthed competition, so vote for them here. Yum Yum.
