More festival picks - Pyramid Rock

Yep, another festival break down. This time I'll give you my picks for The Pyramid Rock Festival, which is held down at Phillip Island (VIC) about an hour or so from Melbourne, held from December 30th - January 1st. I suppose this is your alternative festival for NYE if you're not into Falls or if you've recovered from the Merideth Music Festival. Or you could just come hang out with me, I'm sure I'll be being trashy at some apartment in the city again.

Enough babbling. Here are my incoherent suggestions.

1. Born Ruffians.

Aw, they're so adorable. I wrote about them previously- here & Pix has as well - here. Plus they write ace songs and call them things like Kurt Vonnegut. I have a Kurt Vonnegut tattoo so I guess they feed into my annoying pretentious hipster side. Actually that probably turned you off. Just have a listen.

2. Mystery Jets

Everyone knows that Young Love song, but even though that was a very sweet song I liked them a lot better when one of their Dads was in the band (2005-06-ish).

3. N*E*R*D

I haven't seen them live before, but this will be AMAZING when you've ingested one too many substances. I'm sure they'll have the best time slot, right before the clock strikes 12. It wouldn't let me embed my fav vid Lapdance with all the hot chicks with their boobs out, but you can see the edited version (lame) - here.

Others on the initial line up are:

The Temper Trap | Little Red | Xavier Rudd | Arrested Development | Chromeo | Gyroscope | Trentemoller | Miami Horror | Lightspeed Champion | Shout Out Louds | Jebediah | Oh Mercy

and a bunch of others.

"You misplaced me, buddy. I indicate, I suppose I get what youre saying. I get exactly where youre coming from. But you only appear to possess forgotten that you will find men and women on the market who can see this problem for what it truly is and might not agree with you. You appear to alienate a entire bunch of people who might have been followers of your blog page."
