Yet another self indulgent blog post...

It's been a while...here is what I have been listening to in exile. You may hate these songs. Frankly I don't care.

An absolute goddess. I love you Kate Bush. Lady Gaga wishes she was 1/10000th as interesting and as alluring as Kate Bush.

ABBA are responsible for the best pop music ever made, full stop. Every lyric a hook...every hook perfection. Don't deny it. Your boyfriend doesn't.

Breathtaking, camp, moving, kitsch...all in one. Phantom of the Opera stays with you once you have seen it, whether live or on film.

Utterly sublime Roxy Music-esque circa Flesh and Blood pop from Dan Bejar. Kaputt is almost an album of the year certainty. This could have been terribly gimmicky, but all it is just wonderfully interesting music delivered without a hint of irony.

I picked up Simon & Garfunkel's The Concert in Central Park on vinyl from Glebe Markets on Saturday. Best $9 I have probably ever spent. People who don't like these guys generally have no souls.

Finally, proof that Susan Sarandon is still smoking hot and Justin Timberlake was actually a better person than you this whole time.
